The classic MINI Countryman enters 2025 with several new stylings and updates in the form of an electric offering known as the MINI Countryman Electric. This model is brand new for 2025 and puts an EV twist on the instantly recognizable MINI hatchback. There are plenty of features and specs to dive into, so let’s kick off this all-electric Mini Countryman overview.
2025 MINI Countryman Electric: Under the Hood
For Miami, South Florida, and all of the US, the MINI Countryman Electric comes equipped with a dual electric motor powertrain that pumps out 308 horsepower and 364 lb.-ft. of torque. It also comes standard with all-wheel drive; for those who want front-wheel drive, there are currently no plans to release it as an option, but we can’t rule anything out for future models. However, all-wheel drive provides better handling around corners and for less-than-paved roads, so it’s a nice drive option to have.
Since the MINI Countryman is electric, the acceleration time is a bit quicker than your standard fuel-injected engine. As such, it can hit 0-60 in a respectable 5.3 seconds.
2025 MINI Countryman Electric Range and Battery

The Countryman EV houses a 64.6-kWh battery under the hood and can deliver roughly 212 miles of range when fully charged (for trims with 18” wheels, the range drops by 8 miles to 204 with available 19” wheels). With DC fast charging, you’ll get approximately 80% of the full range within 30 minutes. There are home charging units and thousands of charging stations across the U.S. to keep your battery topped off and the drives running smoothly.

Cargo and Comfort
Despite the name MINI, the EV Countryman has ample storage space for you, your passengers, and any luggage or essentials you need to keep in the cabin. With the rear seats upright, you’ll have 25 cubic feet of cargo. With the back row down, you’ll have 56 cubic feet. All this to say, storage shouldn’t be an issue in this Countryman EV, and your backseat passengers won’t be cramped for legroom either.
The driver and front passenger seats are powered, heated, and offer additional comfort. The Countryman EV's total capacity is 5 passengers, so it’s perfect for traveling with friends or carrying a small family around Miami. The seats are made of Vescin/cloth upholstery.
