Like its 2-Door sibling, it brings the agile functionality and fun driving capabilities people expect of a MINI Cooper, but with added space. Let’s look at what this new MINI Cooper brings to the table and how it sets itself apart from the pack.

Power and Performance
In the U.S. market, the 2025 MINI Cooper 4-Door comes with a 201 SAE horsepower 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine. It produces 221 lb.-ft. of torque and puts its power down on the front wheels through a 7-Speed Dual Clutch Transmission. It’s combined with precise steering and modern chassis, giving it that hallmark go-kart feeling that all MINIs strive to have. It has the power to get you where you need to go but in a fun and agile way.

Exterior Design
The most notable aspect of the MINI Cooper 4-Door is, of course, the fact that it’s a five-seat with four doors instead of the typical two doors found on most MINI Coopers. This combination gives it a unique character that’s immediately recognizable in its exterior design, with its small hood, short overhangs, long wheelbase, and large wheels. It can fit into tight spaces easily while still seating up to five people in it.

The rest of the exterior has a minimalist aesthetic that includes the distinctive MINI face, brought together with the octagonal grille and iconic round headlights. The LED headlights enhance the car’s character with their three available light signature options. The car’s rear also has flush-fitting LED taillights and clear surfaces that fit the car’s minimalist aesthetic.

Interior Space and Design

The MINI Cooper 4-Door has a noticeably wider interior in the rear that seats three passengers. These 60:40 folding rear seats create a storage capacity of 9.71 cubic feet when they’re upright, and that storage capacity increases to 32.66 cubic feet when the seats are folded down.

Along with all that space, the 4-Door’s interior brings the minimalist aesthetic inside with fewer components than previous MINIs. The components that do remain are manufactured to high standards with clever designs. For example, the standard heads-up display keeps all relevant information in the driver’s field of vision right behind the steering wheel.

The MINI’s interior also has seven Experience Modes that allow drivers to customize their interior to their liking. It’s based on the MINI 4-Door’s projector and OLED display that transforms the car’s dashboard into a wonderful world of colors and patterns. Some of the Experience Modes include a Personal Mode, where drivers can upload personal images to the OLED display through the MINI App to give their interior an extra customized vibe.
