Someone needs to alert the media…That the Beach Polo World Cup is BACK in Miami! If you’re not quite as excited as we are yet, keep reading to learn about the Championship matches for Beach Polo, NASCAR, and Pickleball happening just this year in South Florida.
First up is our Beach Polo events! What even is Beach Polo? Well, for some it’s a lifestyle. For others, it’s a team sport invented in 2004, played on horseback with a mallet, ball, and two opposing goalposts.
Beach Polo is not to be confused with Arena Polo, the sport that originated beach polo, or Surf Polo, where players compete in a polo match atop surfboards, or Water Polo, where polo is played while treading water, or Marco Polo, which is a festive hide-and-seek inspired pool time game played amongst childhood friends. (Bet you already knew about that one!)
The following are the Beach Polo events you can try to attend!
Miami Polo Cup
April 19th – 21st, 2024 | On the sands of Miami Beach at Collins Park | 21st - 22nd & Collins, Miami Beach, FL 33139
Coming up right around the corner is the world’s largest and most noteworthy Beach Polo event. Located here in Miami at the beautiful and lush Collins Park, this competition will be located right on the sands of the Miami Beach.
All levels of ticket packages include access to the Polo Lounge, a shaded area overlooking the polo field, access to food vendors, high-end shopping, and more. VIP ticket packages include access to the VIP Tent and include full food and beverage options. Keep in mind, tables are not included in the VIP package.
Scheduling for the weekend will go as follows:
Friday, April 19, 2024
- 2:00 PM – Game 1
- 3:30 PM – Game 2
- 5:00 PM: Game 3
- 7:00 PM: OPEN EVENT: Après Polo at The Setai
- 10:00 PM: OPEN EVENT: Cocktails, Dancing & Meet the Players at MEDIUM COOL
Note: MEDIUM COOL has a strict dress code – no casual sportswear, no sweatsuits, no flip-flops, and no bathing attire is allowed.
Saturday, April 20, 2024:

WORLD POLO LEAGUE FINALS
- 6:30 PM: Award presentation, MVP, Best playing Pony, Photo shoot
- 7:00 PM: OPEN EVENT: Après Polo at The Setai
Note: Each day, the Retail Village will open at 11 AM and the VIP Tent will be open from 1 PM – 7 PM.

US Open Pickleball Championships
April 13-20, 2024 | East Naples Community Park | 3500 Thomasson Drive, Naples, FL 34112
For eight days this April, the US Open Pickleball Championships will be held on the 66 pickleball courts, located in the beautiful East Naples Community Park. Admission is free for spectators who want to view all pickleball matches except for those on the Zing Zang Championship court.
Each afternoon of the Pickleball Championships, expect to see live music, entertainment, food vendors, and more, in the Fat Tire Beer Garden, conveniently located inside East Naples Community Park.
Highlights of the week-long pickleball championship event will go as follows:

- Sunday April 14, 2024: Singles Day
- Monday April 15, 2024: Amateur Men's, Women’s Doubles Age Events / Pro Split Age, Men and Women

- Saturday April 20, 2024: Mixed Pro, Pro Finals, and Hybrid Wheelchair
